LikeVPS Adds NVMe Web Hosting with cPanel, LiteSpeed and Daily Backups

LikeVPS has expanded its hosting portfolio with a new shared web hosting service based on NVMe storage and managed through cPanel. The new offering is aimed not only at developers, but also at webmasters who need a conventional environment for running websites without having to manage a full VPS.

The hosting servers are located in Bulgaria, making the new service particularly relevant for websites whose audiences are concentrated in Bulgaria, the Balkans or elsewhere in Europe. It can also be a practical option for projects that need European hosting with relatively low network latency but do not require the additional control and administrative overhead of a virtual or dedicated server.

LiteSpeed, NVMe and backups included

All three plans use a LiteSpeed web server with LSCache configured for caching. The storage subsystem is based entirely on NVMe, while daily backups, free SSL certificates from Let's Encrypt, DDoS protection and BitNinja are included across the range.

Free website migration is also available, with the transfer handled by LikeVPS engineers. In other words, the hosting package attempts to remove several of the chores that normally appear immediately after buying hosting, when the server politely reminds its owner that configuration is now their problem.

The plans differ mainly in their CPU, memory, storage and account limits:

Parameter Lite Pro Business
CPU cores 1 2 3
RAM 2 GB 3 GB 4 GB
NVMe storage 50 GB 100 GB 200 GB
Websites per account 3 10 25
Mailboxes Unlimited Unlimited Unlimited
MySQL databases Unlimited Unlimited Unlimited
Subdomains and FTP Unlimited Unlimited Unlimited
LiteSpeed + LSCache Yes Yes Yes

Daily backups Yes Yes Yes
DDoS protection and BitNinja Yes Yes Yes
Website migration Free, handled by engineers Free, handled by engineers Free, handled by engineers
Price $2.99/month $5.99/month $11.99/month

The entry-level Lite plan provides enough resources for a small portfolio of sites, landing pages or modest content projects. Pro raises the limits to ten websites, 100 GB of NVMe storage and two CPU cores, while Business is designed for a larger collection of sites with 200 GB of storage, three CPU cores and support for up to 25 websites.

Who is the Bulgarian location suitable for?

The Bulgarian location is most relevant for websites and online services targeting users in Bulgaria and neighboring Balkan countries, where shorter network paths can help keep latency under control. It can also suit European projects that simply need a shared hosting environment outside the more common Western European data-center locations.

For a small corporate website, blog, online store, landing-page collection or several client sites, shared hosting can be more practical than renting a VPS. The provider handles much of the underlying infrastructure, while the user gets the familiar tools for websites, databases, email and FTP. A VPS becomes more appropriate when the project requires root access, custom server software or greater control over the operating environment.

The new service is already available for ordering through the LikeVPS customer panel. At the time of publication, however, the Business plan was not available for selection. LikeVPS had not specified the reason, so this appears to be a temporary technical issue rather than a change to the announced plan lineup.
