Hosting provider EuroHoster has announced a change of jurisdiction and rebranding. The company now operates under the name Virterion LLC and is registered in the United States. Management explains this step as the impossibility of further development within the European Union for a number of reasons, without specifying the details of legislative or economic obstacles.
Relocation Without Losing Staff
All employees of the former EuroHoster Ltd. have continued their work in the new structure. For clients, this means that technical support and product development will remain in the hands of familiar specialists, although the legal entity has changed. Since July 2, all services have been provided exclusively through Virterion LLC.
Dollars Instead of Euros
Key changes have affected the financial model and digital platform. All services have been moved to the new website virterion.com. Prices were converted to US dollars at the exchange rate on July 2. Users will have to log in again on the updated platform using their credentials.
Such migration looks like a forced measure to adapt to changing geopolitical realities. Moving to American jurisdiction may open new opportunities for working with international payment systems, but it will simultaneously require clients to get used to a new settlement currency. One can only hope that the servers did not lose any data packets or response speed during their move across the Atlantic.
