4VPS·SU Drops Two New European Locations: German and Dutch Servers Get a Dose of AMD EPYC 7662

Hosting provider 4VPS·SU has expanded its European footprint. The company launched server capacity in two new locations — Germany and the Netherlands. The gear now lives in nLightem data centers, and customers get to choose where their projects want to settle down.

What's Lurking Under the Hood

Both new sites run on AMD EPYC 7662 processors. This 64-core, 128-thread chip with a clock speed of up to 3.3 GHz chews through heavy computations without breaking a sweat. PCIe 4.0 support means storage and networking gear don't elbow each other for bandwidth, while eight memory channels keep RAM from choking on multitasking.

Germany vs. Netherlands: Pick Your Flavor

A German setup works best for those who care about low latency with Central and Eastern Europe. The German location traditionally charms projects with audiences in Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Germany itself — ping stays short and drama-free.

The Netherlands is the smarter pick for those gunning for Western European traffic and global internet exchanges. Amsterdam's internet hub is one of the chunkiest pipes on the planet, so it's a juicier option for international services, VoD platforms, and chunky APIs. Both centers run the same processors, though — the only real difference comes down to geography and whose local laws you'll be dealing with.

The new locations are available for all orders right now. Prices and configurations can be found on the provider's website.
